Car2x and V2X – these are the current keywords when it comes to the future of safety, efficiency and comfort in road traffic. And whether we talk about Car2x or V2x, we mean the same thing: integrating vehicles into a comprehensive data infrastructure that enables direct communication between vehicles (V2V: Vehicle to Vehicle) on the one hand and infrastructure (V2I: Vehicle to Infrastructure or I2V: Infrastructure to Vehicle) on the other.

CAPL

CAPL is a procedural programming language similar to C, which was developed by Vector Informatik. The execution of program blocks is controlled by events. CAPL programs are developed and compiled in a dedicated browser. This makes it possible to access all of the objects contained in the database (messages, signals, environment variables) as well as system variables. In addition, CAPL provides many predefined functions to support users.

Jan van der Heide and Freek van Capelle from Pilz GmbH introduce the PSSrail solution, which aims to enable economical, digital, and future-oriented automation for rail infrastructure and railway operations. The presentation explains how Vector tools support and simplify automated conformance testing of the RaSTA protocol, the safety layer used in SCI communication.

Session 4: Hands-On Tool Demonstration – Automated Testing from Scratch (Dr. Mario Winkler, Vector)
In this session we present the system-level test tool CANoe using a real EULYNX SCI-P object controller as an example. Dr. Mario Winkler will demonstrate the key steps required to create a virtual test environment that enables explorative testing as well as automated conformance, fuzz, and acceptance testing from scratch.
